Paraphrasing Degas, art is what you want others to see. At a time when seeing is being eroded along with our core values, I believe that now more than ever art should strive to send a message and open people's eyes to see rather than simply look. My work seeks to do this through color and powerful imagery that acknowledges contemporary trends in art, but also adheres to the tradition that art can be beautiful in whatever form it takes. I studied painting in New York City at The Art Students League, The School of Visual Arts, and The National Academy School of Art. My work is represented by Atlantic Gallery in New York City.
